Lets get to know James Cole!

My name is James Cole and I was born and raised in Pullman Washington. I ended up loving pullman so much I decided to go to college here! Amazing, right?

High school Life

I loved high school! Sure it had its ups and downs, but overall it was a good experience. Living in a college town, I had a lot of friends move away. Although that was hard at the time, it helped me develop those friendships into the stronger ones they are now.

In high school I played basketball, football, and I tried a new spring sport every season. I was good at every sport I tried, but not great. But sports were never my main focus; that was filmmaking.

I have been making videos for almost my whole life. I started in 5th grade with one of my best friends (he ended up moving when Paul Wulff got fired) and have been doing it nonstop since then. Over the course of my “filmmaking career” I have won a couple awards and about 7500 dollars in prize money, but my favorite part of the whole thing is seeing peoples reactions to the things I have made.

The purpose of this blog it to post my WSU com210 assignments, but maybe it will expand to more in the future!

My career goals are pretty simple, I want to be a director. My passion is in filmmaking, and I hope one day to be able to do that as a living.
